The Klan is probably the most well known hate group in the United States. Known for decorating the south with flaming crosses, they now are more of a parody of the old guard right wing in America. (It could also be those dorky bedsheets they have to wear.) The Klan in North America has some proponents like Louis Beam (leader of the Fifth Era Klan) of Texas and Dennis Mahon (who leans more towards Tom Metzger's WAR movement) of Oklahoma who demand revolutionary violence. There are Klan-lite groups like the one led by Arkansas-based Thomas Robb who portray the Klan as the white man's nonviolent NAACP. For now they are targets of the FBI and left wing groups who prosecute the group on behalf of its victims for any hate crime.
