It's cold in Michigan, so cold that it can freeze the rational parts of most folks' brains. Considering the inclement weather and "band together or freeze" syndrome, it seems that joining a militia is the next favorite activity after ice fishing. Commander Norm Olsen manages to combine his skills as minister, gun store owner and former air force officer to lead his flock of 12,000 NMMS (Numbs?).
