You have a one in three million chance of being injured on a thrill ride. Thirty-six people have been killed on rides since January 1987. In 1997 8,700 visitors were injured on roller coasters, ferris wheels and other whoop de do danger rides. Eighty percent of the injuries are caused by people who stick their feet out, stand up, or ignore warnings.
