The National Alliance is a Neo-Nazi group begun after leader William Pierce wrote a book called the Turner Diaries (under the pen-name of Andrew McDonald). The radical right wing adopted the book about a Neo-Nazi underground group that kills Jews, blacks, and those whites guilty of "racemixing," as part of an effort to overthrow a Jewish-dominated government. The Turner Diaries is one of Timothy McVeigh's favorite books.
