Somalia - Killing People

With all these guns and hair-trigger tempers, it doesn't take more than a few minutes for a clan fight to break out and people to get killed. The only consolation we can offer you if you are convicted of killing someone is that the shari'a, or Islamic law, mandates that you must pay 100 camels. If you are a woman, the penalty is 50 camels. Meanwhile our government does a study looking into human rights with such meaningful topics as "The right to organize and bargain collectively." Obviously they have never been stopped at a Somali roadblock.
