Kabila was born by Rwandan politics whether he admits it or not. The success of his rebellion against Mobutu Sese Seko was due to the support of U.S. connections and Paul Kagame. Now Kabila's holding most of the marbles in Kinshasa and has his own massacre to cover up. He'll have to think quick to account for some 250,000 Rwandan Hutu refugees missing in his reborn Congo. Kabila let a UN team into Congo to check the allegations out. But with a new civil war raging against Kabila, supported by Kagame, Rwanda, Uganda and Burundi, most of the body bags won't get tagged. Rwanda's army says it is fighting with the rebels to ensure security on its border with the former Zaire. It has accused Kabila of breaking bread with and handing out Kalashnakov souvenirs to Hutu hardliners responsible for the 1994 genocide of minority Tutsis and Hutu moderates.
