About 85,000 Rwandan children are the head of their households, namely because their moms and pops were slaughtered back in 1994. Children hosted in Rwanda's 47 orphanages dropped from 100,000 following the genocide to about 5,000 in 1999. Only some 6,800 have been reunited with their parents. Another 3,000 are street children. Adopting a Rwandan kid may become more stylish than a Cambodian tot.
