With 130,000 Hutus jailed in Rwandan prisons awaiting genocide trials, it comes as no surprise that their buddies still battling the Pasteur Bizimungu government from the hills would like to see these guys see the light of day again to help out the cause. Hutu rebels frequently raid Rwandan prisons and jails in attempt to free their comrades. In February 1998, some 5,500 Hutu insurgents attempted to storm the Nyakabanda prison, but, amazingly, were repulsed by security forces.
