Talk about a hangover; in Russia, one of every six bottles of Russian-made vodka is hazardous for human consumption. Some 340,000 cases of counterfeit vodka that were brought to Moscow in June 1997 aboard 70 railroad cars were sent to a chemical plant for reprocessing into car windshield cleanser and brake fluid, perhaps because these concoctions are more palate-friendly.
