A passport and onward/return ticket as required. For entry by Manila International Airport, a visa is not required for a transit/tourist stay up to 21 days. Visas are required for longer stays; the maximum is 59 days. You'll need to fill out an application and provide one photo, at no charge. Company letter needed for business visa. Arrival into the Philippines from abroad is primarily through Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport, a modern facility with 14 jetways. Located in nearby Pasay City, the airport is less than 30 minutes away by car to any major hotel and services an average of 170 international flights weekly. Manila is just over an hour by air from Hong Kong, 3 hours from Singapore, 5 from Tokyo, 17 hours from San Francisco and 22 hours from New York.

Several Southeast Asian regional carriers have direct flights into Zamboanga, Mindanao, and proposed international airports are due for Cebu City and Zamboanga.
