OK, OK so the worst thing that happened to DP was that we got sunburnt. The Minister of Defense, Orlando Mercado (see Government), flew us out on a tourist junket to see the newest thing in ecotourism. Well it's not bad if you don't mind a lot of drunk soldiers, chopped-down palm trees, rusty anti-aircraft guns, abandoned military gear and old bunkers. As for danger, well the air force pilot said he wouldn't buzz the brand-new Chinese Motel 6's on Mischief Reef "because sometimes they throw their garbage at us." Lock and load the Glad bags gunny . . . we're going in.
