They started off as Haraket-ul-Ansar in 1993, but got bored with the name. But they're a busy bunch. The aim of the party is to direct wannabe mujahedin to the right conflicts and make sure that they fight with the right people. Mainly they're now sending folk to Kashmir, Tadjikistan and Afghanistan. They've got (or had) training camps in eastern Afghanistan. But those camps kinda bit the dust a bit in August 1998 when the United States sent them a "miss you" card in the form of several cruise missiles. You don't have to be a genius to work out that one of the guests in their camp was the elusive Osama bin Laden, who the CIA is desperate to make a permanent resident in the United States.
