North Korea has a shortage of medical supplies, facilities and doctors. Western medicines and remedies are even more rare. On the plus side, the water is potable, and the hygiene and sanitation very good. Also, you won't find the food stalls that are seen throughout the rest of Asia. North Korea is squeaky clean.
