A passport and visa are required. Visas, at no charge, are valid for one entry within 12 months of issue. You'll need one photo, a yellow fever vaccination, proof of onward/return transportation and, for a tourist visa, a letter of invitation. Business visas require a letter from counterparts in Nigeria and a letter of introduction from a U.S. company. For further information, contact the following:

If you think you are going to save money by flying Nigeria Airlines from Europe, think again. Remember, NA flights are banned from entering the U.S., and one of its new Airbus A310s was nabbed by the Belgians for nonpayment of debt. Another NA plane had to make an emergency landing in Algiers and has been sitting there for months waiting for spare parts. Many flights are canceled because politicians borrow the planes to go shopping in Europe or just feel like visiting their money in Saudi Arabia.
