Wanna make a quick peso? Kidnappers pull in around $165 million in ransoms every year in Mexico. Simply abduct some guy and demand a little cerveza dinero for his release. "Express" kidnapping has become all the rage in Burritoville in the last year. Kidnappers simply snatch their mark and demand a small ransom sum. That makes the money easy to raise for the victim's family and doesn't burden the abductors with hiding and feeding their victims for a couple of months while the victim's family bargains with the IMF for a huge ransom loan. Express kidnapping-when you absolutely, positively need to get your loved one back home in time for dinner.
