All visitors more than one year old must have a yellow fever vaccination certificate. Malaria and Hepatitis B are widespread, and arthropod-borne diseases such as river blindness and sleeping sickness can also be a hazard. There are 15 hospital beds and one doctor for every 10,000 people.
