Iraq, Iran & Afghanistan

Starting in Baghdad, we’ll visit the holy cities of Karbala, Najaf, and Nasiriyah as well as the legendary ruins of Babylon and Ur. In Iran, we’ll spend the night with a nomad family, and explore Persepolis, Esfahan, and Shiraz. In Afghanistan, we’ll explore the vibrant cities of Kabul, Herat, and Mazar-I Sharif, hike the Panjshir Valley, and visit the ruined Buddhas in Bamiyan.
